![]() Daekyo Kangaroos Women’s Soccer Team (“Daekyo Soccer Team”) inked the home team agreement on the 19th with Goyang-si and agreed to carry out joint marketing. This agreement ceremony carries significant meaning as the first joint marketing agreement between a company’s sports club and a local government. By concluding the home team agreement with Goyang-si for 5 years until 2014, the Daekyo Soccer Team will be reborn as “Goyang Daekyo Noonnoppi Women’s Soccer Team” beginning the 2010 season. Based on this agreement, Goyang-si provides support of KRW 500 million every year, making a total of KRW 2.5 billion. The Daekyo Soccer Team, for its part, builds a children’s soccer team, use Goyang-si as a home in the National Sports Festival, and give rights to use the team name and advertise on uniforms to Goyang-si. In addition, it can use the Goyang Stadium as a home stadium in the WK league to be operated as a home & away type beginning 2011.
