Daekyo has officially launched “Smarty Ants,” a 3D online English learning program. Smarty Ants is designed for toddlers and early elementary school students. It is a 3D content-based, experience-type, online English learning program developed to reinforce complete phonics and English reading ability. Produced in colorful 3D graphics, Smarty Ants provides some 20 experience-type learning activities to stimulate the interest and curiosity of children; thus helping them learn spontaneously. The program consists of 69 learning units in 11-stage courses, and the learning period on the average is 1 year even as it may vary by individual and by level. In this program, students practice phonics values and vocabularies as the teaching goals through some 20 game-type activities. The program helps students separately store the vocabularies they have learned through repeated learning and review lessons at any time by producing storybooks and music DVD using the learned vocabularies. Each time students complete the lessons uniquely tailored to them, they will feel a sense of achievement that they had never experienced before. In addition, more than 300 interesting songs will not only double the learning effects of children but also help the students who feel tired of English learning realize that learning English is something enjoyable. The puppy-shaped pet toy enables students to repeat the stories and songs they learned online and even offline. In commemoration of the launch of official services of Smarty Ants, Daekyo will hold various kinds of events for Daekyo members. More details can be found in the official home page (www.smartyants.co.kr). |
